Difficult Topics Require the Right Mix of Professionalism and Compassion

Melissa specializes in what she likes to call “sensitive topic research” – talking about difficult, sometimes taboo topics (contraception, erectile dysfunction, genetic testing, vibrators and condoms, difficult disease states). Her greatest reward is helping others find their voice and articulate what they really think and feel when it comes to a topic they may have never talked about! She often hears respondents say, “I never told anyone that before – and it feels really good!” Melissa has a way of connecting with respondents and making them feel comfortable even when the topic can be uncomfortable.
